With a background in various areas of the art and beauty worlds, Sierra Petersen lives her life creatively. The Nashville-based California native began participating in community theatre projects at a young age, where she developed a love for character development through hair and costume. This transformed into creating costumes and styling hair for photo shoots and the natural transition to cosmetology school.

Sierra graduated with honors from Paul Mitchell's accelerated program and proceeded to lead a Community Outreach program for the school, mentoring current students at photo shoots, fashion shows and other community events. Moving from education to set life helped Sierra decide it was time to move to the salon world.

Sierra has been behind the chair for over a decade specializing in curls (well trained!), hand paining color and full transformations. Sierra draws inspiration from the aesthetics of early 20th century spiritualists, mid-century sci-fi, futurism films, re-imagined fairytales, and nature.

Outside the salon, Sierra loves to travel, see any form of the Arts, cooking and sometimes hunting ghosts!
